Virginia joined the Aspen Skating Club in the Fall of 2017. She grew up skating and competing around the world. Early in her skating career, Virginia competed in ladies singles, completed her first two dances and competed on two international precision teams, in Canada and Australia. During her adult life, Virginia began teaching skating in Berlin, Germany and later taught skating in Scottsdale, Arizona for over 20. She is most proud of her volunteer coaching she did with the Special Olympics for several years.
Over those, 20 years spent in Arizona, Virginia spent most Christmas visiting her family here in the Roaring Fork Valley. Then, this past Fall, 2017, moved here herself.
